To support the informational, educational, recreational, and research needs of our community, the Copper Queen Library's  professionals are responsible for identifying, selecting, cataloging, classifying, retrieving, interpreting, contextuali-zing, and preserving authoritative, appropriate, quality information in a variety of physical and electronic formats and for arranging programs and services that are appropriate to the community's interests and needs.

Reference Services

The Library provides comprehensive research and reference assistance, including on-site and remote access to electronic resources; end-user and mediated database searching; Interlibrary Loan and Document  Delivery services; and individual or group information literacy and library orientation instruction.

Interlibrary Loan Services

The Library supplements its permanent holdings by sharing resources reciprocally with other libraries and information centers locally, nationally, and internationally. This enables us to offer free access to the world's collections, including direct delivery of books and articles to the Copper Queen Library.   Staff at the Circ Desk will assist with Interlibrary Loan if the Copper Queen's collection does not contain a requested item.

Public Computing Services

The Library supports public computers that contain a variety of software programs and  provide fast, free internet access to email and other web-based resources to users for up to one hour daily.
